Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE or LLDPE) is a translucent material with a milky hue. It has high elasticity, low water absorption, practically does not conduct electric current. Due to its dense structure, linear polyethylene perfectly withstands mechanical stress, stretches well, does not break, and does not emit toxic substances when heated. The material does not lose its qualities at low temperatures, so it is used to store frozen foods. An important property that allows the use of linear low density polyethylene in the food industry is its biological inertness and environmental friendliness. Heat-resistant film and stretch film are made of this type of polyethylene.
