Barriercoats

Barrier coat is a special type of gel coat that is applied after the gel coat. Barrier coats are highly resistant to hydrolysis and chemical attack, prevent fiber print-through and provide high osmosis and bubble resistance in finished products. Barrier coatings, due to their rigidity and mechanical strength, form a durable base coat for gelcoats. Barrier coating consumption per square meter is lower than gelcoats due to lower density values.
