Systems for rigid polyurethane foam

The structure of rigid polyurethane foams is formed from closed cells. Polyurethane foam is stiff and has a good thermal conductivity, lower than wood, stone wool, expanded polystyrene and other insulating materials. Therefore, these foams exhibit better thermal insulation properties.

Polyisocyanurate foam, also known as PIR, is used for the manufacture of sandwich panels with high fire resistance, since special additives, catalysts and other non-combustible agents are used in their production. Rigid polyurethane foams used for decorative purposes are wood imitation products used in furniture, mirror frames, and interior design.

New generation rigid polyurethane foams used for thermal insulation of refrigeration equipment and pipes allow production of products with lower weight due to high compressive strength. Spraying systems are an excellent thermal insulation material that foams within a few seconds after being applied to the surface, creating a seamless insulation layer over the entire treated surface.
