TDI Isocyanate

Isocyanates are a group of organic compounds used for the production of polyurethanes. They form a group of neutral derivatives of primary amines with the general formula R-N=C=O.

They are liquids with significant viscosity, may contain impurities of other compounds: acids, iron compounds. These substances are synthesized by the reaction of amines with phosgene.
Application:

• synthesis of polyurethane foam, as well as the production of some low molecular weight polyurethane coatings for aircraft, tank trucks and trailers (methylene 2 (4-phenylisocyanate) and 2,4-toluene diisocyanate)
• bonding of rubber and viscose or nylon, as well as for the production of polyurethane lacquers (methylene bis -2(4-phenylisocyanate)) is used in polyurethane coatings, in putty and finishing material for floors and wooden products, in paint and concrete fillers
• Production of polyurethane foams and polyurethane elastomers in seals for ceramic pipes and coated materials.
