UTS announces the launch of sales of two new grades of calcium stearate under the Stabica Ca brand — a water-repellent additive for dry building mixes, manufactured domestically. The products are produced in accordance with TU 20.14.32-003-63701666-2025 and are already available for order.

Two grades — for any task

Stabica Ca 45 µm — a highly effective grade in the premium segment.

A fine-dispersion powder with a grinding fineness of 45 µm provides maximum hydrophobization at minimal dosages. Thanks to its high dispersity, the additive is evenly distributed throughout the mix, which is especially important for thin-layer compositions: plasters, putties, and tile adhesives. Packaging — 10 kg paper bags.

Stabica Ca 160 µm — a reliable budget alternative.

Standard grinding of 160 µm — an economical solution for mass formulations: masonry mortars, screeds, and general-purpose dry mixes. The optimal choice for high-volume consumption without compromising the quality of the hydrophobic effect. Packaging — 15 kg paper bags.

Application scope in construction chemistry

Stabica Ca calcium stearate performs several functions simultaneously, making it a universal additive for construction formulations:

hydrophobization — reduces water absorption of the finished coating, increasing durability under variable humidity;

lubricating and dispersing effect — improves the workability of the mix, facilitates application and leveling;

defoaming and anti-caking — maintains the product's flowability during storage and transportation;

matting effect — also applicable in paint and coating compositions and pigment concentrates.
