Anionic surfactants
Anionic surfactants are used as wetting agents, detergents, foaming agents. They are the main micelle-forming surfactants with the largest production volume and assortment. They exhibit their most active properties in alkaline media, although they can also be used in acidic ones, for example, when treating metals with acids to remove an oxide film.
