Elastomers are substances consisting of long-chain polymers and having an excellent ability to stretch and take their original shape. In addition, this material is characterized by good cushioning and resistance to vibration and temperature changes, stability of standard sizes and very low shrinkage. Two-component elastomeric injection molding systems are polyurethane systems that are injected under both low and high pressure into closed molds. They are used in the production of filters, shafts, wheels, hydraulic seals, elevator parts.
