Oleochemistry

Oleochemistry (physico-chemical processing of fat) is a natural alternative to the petrochemical production of surfactants, the so-called "green" chemistry. Oleochemistry products have a very wide range of applications - from food emulsifiers to harmless detergents. Uses animal fats obtained by preparing animal by-products. If earlier oleochemistry was used only for the manufacture of soap, now it is part of everyday life and is present in various industries, for example, in food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and in industry. Due to the fact that oleochemistry uses renewable and biodegradable raw materials, its products are experiencing steady growth and are referred to as “bio-products”.
