Novosibirsk hosted the confectionery forum "Siberian Dialogue: Trends 2025-2026"

On April 17, Novosibirsk hosted a forum for confectionery industry professionals organized by UTS. The participants discussed functional solutions using hydrocolloids and current market trends.

The General Director of UTS-Siberia, D.V. Loparev, made an introductory speech. In the first session, he and I.K. Petukhov, Sales Director of the UTS Group, spoke about international business opportunities.

Special attention was paid to Dangshan Haisheng Pectin pectins. R.V. Serebryakov highlighted logistics and the situation on the Russian and CIS markets, and Kevin Wang, Chief Technologist, presented the production, quality control and use of pectins for marshmallows, marmalades and fillings.  In a session on agar and carrageenan from BLG, speaker Serebryakov revealed the properties of these texture-forming agents. The technological experience of the UTS Group was presented by O.A. Markina and A.V. Tikhy.

The leading technologist D.S. Rodzina outlined the global trends of 2025-2026: healthy lifestyle, sugar reduction, clean label, functional products and new formats, as well as ways to make money in these areas.
The discussions ended with individual consultations, after which dinner and an entertainment program awaited the guests. The Forum has become an effective platform for sharing experiences and strengthening business ties.
